Eastend Ayurkshetra, ‘the temple of life’, is an authentic Ayurveda and Yoga retreat centre located on the banks of the Vembanad lake. The centre provides an Ayurvedic experience which starts creation with a distinct composition, distinguished by our own nature. The retreat consider health as a pre-requisite for achieving supreme ends of life consisting of righteousness, wealth, artistic values and spiritual freedom. Ayurkshetra, as its very name denotes, is the temple of ancient times that boasts traditional treatment rooms, all with ‘Greenleaf’ facilities. The retreat offers a special harmonizing programme from three weeks onwards that offers a unique combination of Ayurvedic healing an Yogic trance . This programme takes recipient to a spiritual journey and incorporates meditation, Ayurveda healing techniques like Panchakarma, Ayurveda diet, and Yoga. Other wellness programmes include relaxation programme, insomnia and stress relieving programme, and rejuvenation programme with ‘dinacharya’ (daily regimen). Yoga and meditation classes are designed in such a manner that it compliments each person’s predominant dosha. Some of the health programmes offered at the retreat include revitalization treatment for old age disorders, spine and neck care programme, slimming programme, arthritis and psoriasis treatment. The wellness destination is known for its herbal garden which has a collection of over 250 varieties of medicinal plants. For a total wellness solution, it provides Ayurvedic diet to every guest after consultantion with the Ayurvedic physician.
